Ordered my flex fuel line

This update covers installing high pressure PTFE fuel line with impregnated carbon to reduce static.

high pressure PTFE fuel line: Why I skipped the kit hard line

FFR ships fuel line with the Complete Roadster kit. However, I need 3/8″ feed and return lines for the Coyote.

Therefore I am opting for flex PTFE line.

After tons of forum research, I chose Fragola PTFE 3/8″ stainless braided line. Also, it has impregnated carbon to reduce static charges.

Meanwhile, it can sustain high-pressure fuel systems as well. In other words, this differs from the solid line setup from FFR.

As a result, a few new tools will be required.

Coyote Gen3 fuel layout

Here is a picture of my layout. Likewise, I color coded it for clarity.

It does not seem like much. Still, there are a handful of parts to get here! Turn off your ad-blocker to see the parts list!

Parts count and add-ons

To set up properly, I need 20-ft of PTFE hose. Also, I need 6 straight end PTFE connectors.

Next come 3 adapters for the pressure regulator. Then 1 adapter for the fuel pump out, and 1 adapter for the return to the tank!

I already had the fuel-pressure regulator and fuel line spacers. Because I had a large online order, I also got the KRC proportioning valve to save on shipping.

Ultimately I am pretty happy with the choices. Once everything arrives early next week, I can install the fuel system!
