It’s been a while since my last update. I’ve been waiting on the A/C kit from FFR – it took 2 months to arrive, and parts were damaged. Really frustrating as FFR or FedEx won’t deal with the issue… So I’m getting back into the build while I let that marinate a bit in the back of my brain.
To attach the choke pull knobs I used some angle aluminum and made a few mount points. I riveted these to the 2-in square tube about 1.25″ off the sides to give enough room to get a hand in there. I then trimmed down the choke lines. The driver side is about 2.5′ long and the passenger side is about 9″ because of how I mounted it up high in the footbox. Overall I’m pretty happy with this small mod, with the helper blowers, my goal is to try to remove any stale/hot air in the footboxes.
