The 25th Anniversary car comes with Wilwood brakes – but I’m going to add power brakes – why? Well, it’s more of a modern version of the Cobra – and while many say you don’t ‘need’ power brakes – I’m opting for it!
I’m going to use electric power steering, which removes the need for a power-steering pump, so I’ll need a vacuum based brake system. The Whitby’s kit above should fit the bill, and it’s now MKIV compatible!
Lots more planning to do, and it’s crazy how much ‘more’ I’m adding to the build and it’s not even here yet! Fingers crossed I’m not going too crazy!
