I was fortunate enough to get a set of Drummer Mike’s Heat Shields for the Gas’N sidepipes. I like the look and having some extra space between your leg and that hot exhaust can save you from the infamous ‘snake-bite’ e.g. burn your leg. Of course, I modified on top of the basic install with extra zero-clearance heat shield from Breeze Automotive that I had leftover from my engine-bay installation.

Here are some pics of the parts and installation. I used some high-temp gasket sealant to attach the insulation to the bands, that REALLY helped with alignment and mounting the hardware. You’ll also note in the one pic, I added the zero-clearance aluminum heat shielding to add even more protection from heat. https://breezeautomotive.com/shop/zero-clearance-aluminum-fiberglass-psa-insulation
Overall, I love the look of these heat shields. Adding the zero-clearance insulation should help cut temps even more, by 15-20F! I’ll have to measure with my temperature gun. Hope you enjoy!
