While we’re waiting for my a/c parts to come in, figured I’d finish up more interior work. I have all the carpeting done except for the main floors under the seats. It’s getting exciting to see this all come together!
carpeted the forward floor of the driver and some of the passenger footbox, will do the sides of the cockpit before I do the biggest floor pieces to keep the seams to a minimum… always love the smell of 3M Super 77 in the morning!
Lastly – the lower dash was ready to install! We had to cut out a few extra holes and trim pieces. My son 3D printed some PETG parts for the starter button and the surround for the USB ports to make them flush mount on the leather. Overall I’m SUPER happy with the work that Fine Line Upholstery did on both the lower dash wrap and the transmission tunnel cover. It looks like it came like this from the factory, and exceeded my expectations and match my vision for “the look” I wanted.
Overall, very happy with the results! It’s starting to feel like this build can get completed soon! 🙂
