Many of you who’ve driven a manual transmission car know that on long rides, a dead-pedal is essential. It’s also necessary at the track. I got this kit from Breeze and it’s great, and cheap at $39!
The setup is relatively simple. The big task is sealing up the outside of your driver pedalbox. You need to finish this before installing your driver side headers. Here are some pics of the process, all parts included from Mark Reynolds at Breeze Automotive.
Once you decide the depth of the pedal, you only need a few nuts and bolts. Use them to attach it to the side of the footbox. It’s a very rigid setup. It screws into the 2″ square tube by your knee. It’s not going anywhere. Excellent part and will give more comfort to the drive!
Overall really pleased with the Breeze products – go for it!
