2020 has been a harrowing year… So many life changes have blocked a lot of progress. Getting back into things, I am doing some re-shuffling, re-inventory, selling parts I won’t use and buying more parts that I plan to use. Overall, this project is just like everyone says – plan your budget and add 20% on-top.
As far as work on the car, I did some basic cleanup and found the passenger floor panel and got it mounted up. For some reason this was misplaced in the garage and for the life of me I couldn’t find it! LOL Once I’m happy with the placement, I’ll also cover this section with Thermo-Tec and rivet into place.
I was able to track down a Tangent fog-light setup, and waiting for that to arrive. I’ve always liked the Tangent light kit and they stopped business a while ago… I’ll most likely take a stab at updating these to LEDs with higher light output.
Also, I can’t seem to pass up a Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal – and I found 20% off the Digital Guard Dawg pushbutton start setup. Since it was 20% off, I also opted for the GPS and starter lockout options – I saved about $150 using the coupon. This will help with the modernized functionality for the roadster along with the Wilwood electric parking brake setup.
Hopefully I’ll have more updates soon, now things have settled down quite a bit and it’s time to turn the space heater back on in the garage 🙂
