There are a few things that modern technology has brought to the car scene that just flat out make sense to me. Two options that come to mind are anti-lock brakes and Traction Control. These weren’t available in a 1965 Shelby Cobra, but then again, neither was a Coyote 5.0 fuel-injected engine. Since I’ve opted for power brakes, that will help with brake pressure, but I believe I’m going to go for ABS as well. IMHO it’s just a smart thing to do with a 500HP car.
Doing some research, I’ve found a setup that won’t break the bank and will keep me safe. Thanks to johngeorge ‘s post it simplifies the parts needed to setup this mod. Many of the parts are new, but sourcing the ABS module itself can be found for 1/3rd the price of new.
Here are the components needed for the upgrade ~$363

Obviously this is something to decide before laying out the brake lines – so I’m doing a bit more research on the ABS module itself as the M-2353-A is really hard to find, but also maybe too much tuning for slicks anyways… Hoping I can find an M-2353-B, CA that may work better for the street.
