chassis to painter: Dropped the chassis off with Ken
It has been a few weeks, but we took the chassis up to Ken. You can find him at https://www.facebook.com/streetrodpainter/.
I am very excited to get this paint phase dialed in. However, he still faces a few shop hurdles. First he moved about three miles from Yuba City to Marysville, CA. Then he tried to get new electrical for the paint booths. Meanwhile PG&E has been a real PITA. So he now runs a generator to power the booths. Ultimately the car should get sprayed soon.

Still super stoked to see paint next!
Defroster plenum before paint
NorthRaceCars plenum parts
We still had one item to finalize: the defroster plenum. The FFR kit parts were just too big for our setup. Therefore I bought a plenum from NorthRaceCars. Also, we printed a few new parts to make it fit.

Next stop: bond it in for paint
Next we need to take this part up to Ken. After that he can bond it into the body. Once that is done, the chassis to painter path is clear for color.
