Preparing the carbon fiber dash

One of the cool features of this build is the carbon fiber dash. While I do like the padded/leather/vinyl dash – the CF dash was created for the 25th Anniv. car. I am opting for the competition dash layout which IMHO spreads out the dash visuals a bit. The street setup just feels too cramped for my liking. Aligning the dash center came from some diagrams I’ve collected.

Drilling the holes for this dash is going to be stressful. CF is light, and cool looking – but also unforgiving!

I’m also adding a sub-dash that needs some trimming, but will allocate 6 switches (3 on each side) that will straddle the Alpine headunit. It’s starting to come together, but I’m sure all the wiring will be pretty insane soon!
