Gosh it’s been a slow road lately! We’ve had 2 pinhole leaks in the garage, which has destroyed a few boxes and I’ve had to shuffle the garage around quite a bit. Fortunately it’s been in the garage and not in the main house, but in general it’s slowed things down.
Anyhoo! I’ve been working on prepping the ABS components – all 4 sensors are seated at all 4 wheels. Now onto the ABS HCU prep. I was lucky to get an HCU from a 2008 Mustang GT500 for $15 off eBay 🙂 In trying to attach to the frame, I really don’t want to weld it in (just yet), so I opted to order the bracket that goes with the HCU. Another $20 from eBay and I now have the bracket.
Some of the pre-work is to get the ABS setup rewired according to the forum guide
Moving some of the wires around helps to cleanup the loom a bit – I got the ideas from http://www.johngeorgeracing.com/gallery/index.php?/category/79
