FFR ships fuel line with the Complete Roadster kit but I need 3/8″ feed and return lines for the Coyote, so I’m opting for flex PTFE line. From doing tons of research on the forums, I opted for Fragola PTFE 3/8″ stainless braided line because it has impregnated carbon to reduce static charges and can sustain high-pressure fuel systems as well. This is a bit different from the solid line setup from FFR so a few new tools will be required.
Here’s a picture of my layout – color coded for your appreciation:
It doesn’t seem like much, but there are a handful of parts to get here! Turn off your ad-blocker to see the parts list!
To setup properly, it’s 20-ft of PTFE hose, 6 straight end PTFE connectors, 3 adapters for the pressure regulator, 1 adapter for the fuel pump out, and 1 adapter for the return to the tank!
I already had the fuel-pressure regulator and fuel line spacers. I figured since I had a large online order I’d get the KRC proportioning valve as well to save on shipping costs 🙂
All in all, I’m pretty happy with the choices – putting it all together will be the key! Should be here early next week and I can get the fuel system installed!
