Here are my high-level plans to build the MKIV roadster

I’m planning on the complete kit since I’m not using a donor, this will be an all new parts car…

• Factory Five Racing – Complete MK4 Roadster Kit + 25th Anniversary Components
• Engine – Gen3 Coyote 5.0 (460HP) – stock ECM
• Exhaust – catted headers from FFR
• Transmission – 6-speed T-56 Magnum 2.66 1st gear- this should put the car in 4th in a ¼ mile and combo with the diff should be drive-able, and not too steep for daily driving TKO-600 5-spd
• Suspension / Differential – Mustang IRS with 3.55 gears and adjustable Koni shocks
• Staggered wheel and tire setup with vintage Halibrand Replica Wheels 25th Anniversary Starburst Wheels, 18” X 9” Front and 18” X 11”, 265/35R18 Front and 315/30R18 in the Rear
• Steering – I believe I’ll try the electric steering mod!!
• Interior – heated leather seats, adding the heater, and possibly A/C
• Body – color TBD, I’m leaning toward silver with black metallic black with bronze stripes… but here’s a great collection of colors!
