If you’ve looked up close on a Factory Five cobra – there is quite a gap between the body, frame, and sheet metal behind the seats. It’s almost crazy to think of that much space that water, rocks, etc can get through to the cockpit. Whitby Motorcars makes a filler plate kit for this, you can make your own design, but I opted for something already pre-fabbed and easy to install.

As you can see above, the gap can be up to 2 inches wide – yes you can see open air behind the seats. The parts that Whitby includes are simple die cut aluminum sheets and bulb seal. Just drill and rivet into place!
While I was in the rear wheel well, I wanted to install the FFR splash guards as well. These are just as simple to install as the front splash guards.

You can see that this splash panel really reduces the area behind the tires to fling rocks, etc. Many state that some of those larger rocks can actually spider crack your paint. I will most likely do some Raptor undercoat and/or install the Vraptor Wheel well Liner kit in the future.
